Fishing in Carmarthenshire

Our ponds were initially stocked with rainbow and brown trout intended for fly fishing but we are now offering course fishing for Common and Mirror Carp with Tench in a variety of sizes having had spawning in recent years. The largest fish during 2022 was 19 lbs 8oz and the stock have not been over fished and are in excellent condition.

There is a car park and small hut near the ponds for shelter if necessary with a portable toilet facility.

Day tickets for 2023 are £15 and we are open for fishing Monday-Sunday and suggest new fishermen to contact us in advance to arrange a visit.

There are two 1½ acre spring fed, clay lined ponds available for fishing that were dug during the 1980’s and we have been actively landscaping and working on the grounds to create the best environment for those who are keen for a day’s sport or relaxation in scenic surroundings. The 2023 fishing rules are made available to download by clicking here.
